Privacy Policy

Your voice audio, transcription, and speech synthesis are processed on your machine. Conversation text goes only to the LLM endpoint you configure.

Last updated: July 2026

The short version

AverVOX Pro does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data from your use of the application. Your voice audio, transcription, and speech synthesis are processed entirely on your machine and are never sent to us. Conversation text is sent to exactly one place: the LLM API endpoint you configure—which may be local, such as Ollama on your own hardware, or a remote provider, in which case that provider’s privacy policy applies to the text you send it.

1. Data collected by the application

AverVOX Pro collects no personal data. Specifically:

  • No telemetry. No usage statistics, crash reports, or analytics are transmitted anywhere.
  • No voice data. Audio is processed locally on your machine using on-device STT (faster-whisper). It is never sent to our servers.
  • No conversation data. LLM requests are sent directly from your machine to the API endpoint you configure. We have no access to them.
  • License key. Your license key is stored encrypted at ~/.config/avervox/license.key and is verified offline. It is never transmitted to our servers after activation.
  • API keys. LLM API keys and networking auth tokens are masked in the Dashboard and Preferences and stored encrypted in ~/.config/avervox/config.yaml.

2. Payment processing and fulfillment

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment card details. Stripe collects and processes payment information under its own privacy policy.

To verify and fulfill an AverVOX Pro order, we receive and retain the checkout email and name, Stripe Checkout Session and payment identifiers, Payment Link, Price and Product identifiers, amount and currency, payment and delivery status, timestamps, and the license and private-download record issued for the order. We use these records only for fulfillment, redelivery, fraud prevention, accounting, license administration, and customer support—not for advertising or unrelated marketing.

3. Website

The avervoxpro.com website does not use tracking cookies or analytics. Standard web server access logs—IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL, and timestamp—may be retained for up to 30 days for security and operational purposes.

4. Support communications

If you contact us by email, we will retain your email address and message content solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not share this information with third parties and we do not use it for marketing purposes.

5. Third-party LLM endpoints

AverVOX Pro connects to whichever LLM API endpoint you configure, such as a local Ollama instance, OpenAI, OpenRouter, or another provider. We have no control over and accept no responsibility for how those third-party services handle data you send to them. Please review their respective privacy policies.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of AverVOX Pro after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
